Certificate IV Mental Health Peer Work program for 2017

VICSERV is pleased to announce that expressions of interest are open for the next program of the Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work (CHC43515).

The Department of Health and Human Services, to support mental health peer workers access this training, has made a series of scholarships available to all students. These scholarships, together with the Victorian Training Guarantee, means that all students now pay only $425 plus $200 materials fee for the whole course.

This specialist, nationally recognised course has been developed by VICSERV and is specifically designed for workers who:

  • have lived experience as either a consumer or carer; and
    work in mental health services in a role that supports, mentors or advocates for consumers or carers.

To enrol in this qualification, participants must be currently working in a peer work role at least one day a week, for the duration of the course.
